What is MAC EZ Garage?

  • An enhanced digital search and ordering platform providing improved order visibility, order management and an improved user experience for MAC Distributors.

  • Improved product searchability (with continuous site enhancements), more frequent promotions, and earlier access and awareness to new products.

  • EZ Garage is supported by ISN’s world-class distribution network of nine U.S. fulfillment centers that enable same day shipping and two-day delivery to U.S. distributors for most products, targeting consistent deliveries in less than 1 week from time of order.
  • For MAC Tools distributors in Canada, a planned phase two deployment will enable five to seven day delivery, an improvement from the current two to three week delivery timeframe. Additionally, direct shipments will be enabled to Canada from the United States.

Do I need a new account to place orders on MAC EZ Garage? 

  • Nope, if you’re able to read this you are already setup and ready to place orders! Your MAC Credit account is tied to all Daily Orders and Direct-Ship Orders placed on MAC EZ Garage, so no you do not need to setup a new account.

How do I place orders on MAC EZ Garage?

  • Once you find the item(s) you want to order, simply add products to your Daily Order or Direct-Ship Order and submit the order for processing.

How does this program impact my profitability?

  • A large majority of items (90%+) will have a lower cost to the distributor than MacWD, while providing an increased margin. In the past, big ticket items had a 20% (E) discount class, and the rest were at 30% (C).  Now, the classes are 25% (B), 30% (C), and 35% (F).  This means a better margin for you, and greater sales flexibility for you to negotiate.

Does buying on MAC EZ Garage impact my MPR? (MAC Tools Performance Rewards)

  • Yes, in a POSITIVE WAY! All purchases on MAC EZ Garage count towards the MAC Tools MPR including awards, annual rebate payouts, growth bonus, payment discounts and overall distributor ranking.

Placing Orders

Does my ordering process change?

  • Your daily ordering process has gotten easier! For items on EZ Garage, you can order them directly on macezgarage.com by submitting a Daily Order or Direct-Ship Order. All orders placed on EZ Garage will show up on your MBA for receiving.
  • If you prefer to order EZ Garage items on your MBA, you can! All items on MAC EZ Garage are already setup in MBA, but MAC EZ Garage has more product information.
  • If you ordered EZ Garage items on MBA, you can still use EZ Garage to get order tracking and status on the Order History page, under ‘All Confirmed Orders’ and ‘Shipments’ tabs.

What are Daily Orders?

  • Your Daily Orders page basically is your daily shopping cart where you add items throughout at each one of your route stops, then at the end of each day you’ll submit the EZ Garage Order Request for processing.
  • In ‘Automatic’ mode your Daily order processes the items in your Daily Order automatically each day per below.
    • ‘Automatic’ mode is designed to remove the step of having to remember or deal with submitting your order manually at the end of your day. In Automatic mode, your Daily Order will be automatically submitted each weekday evening at 11:30pm ET / 10:30pm CT / 9:30pm MT / 8:30pm PT.
  • Manual’ mode [default] requires you manually click the ‘Submit Daily Order’ button and confirm the order by selecting ‘OK’ to proceed with submitting the order each day or whenever you want to process your Daily Order. When in Manual mode, your Daily Order will not be processed until you follow these steps.
  • At any point you can review items in your Daily Order, modify quantities or move specific (or all) items to a separate Direct-Ship Order.
  • Daily Orders ship to your default MAC Tools Account address.

Why should I select ‘Automatic’ on Daily Orders? 

  • ‘Automatic’ mode was designed to remove the daily steps of having to remember and submit your order manually at the end of your day. The intention was to make your daily order processing for specialty products more efficient and easier knowing that your customer orders will be processed automatically.

My ‘Daily Order’ button is RED with a white icon, is my Daily Order setup in ‘Automatic’ mode?

  • Yes, exactly! When the ‘Daily Order’ button in the header is red with the badge icon your Daily Order will process automatically each day, with Extended Payment terms set to ‘No’.

My ‘Daily Order’ button is GRAY, is my Daily Order setup in ‘Manual’ mode?

  • Yes, exactly! When the ‘Daily Order’ button in the header is gray your Daily Order will never process until you , with Extended Payment terms set to ‘No’.

What are Direct-Ship Orders?

  • Direct-Ship Orders are for when you:
    • Want to direct-ship an order to your customer’s address
    • Need to ship to different address than your default MAC Tools address
    • Have specific item(s) that must ship via LTL freight
  • Direct-Ship Orders will ship to the address you specify during the checkout process.
  • Your Direct-Ship Order will not be processed until you complete the checkout process and submit by clicking ‘Place Order’ and landing on Order confirmation page.

What does Extended Payment (No/Yes) mean?

  • This is the exact option you have in MBA for choosing to pay for a Daily or Direct-Ship Order on extended payment terms instead of your typical MAC Credit account terms.
  • The Extended Payment button functions the same as in MBA, defaulting to ‘No’ at the beginning of each new Daily Order or Direct-Ship Order.

What about MAC Credit approvals?  Will the credit approval process delay my order?

  • Every Daily Order and Direct-Ship Order placed on MAC EZ Garage must be processed through the MAC Credit approval process. This process typically takes a few hours but may take a few days or up to 10 days. 
  • If your order has been submitted, you can find it on the Order History page on the ‘EZ Garage Order Requests’ tab. Only when these order requests have been approved by MAC Credit do they show up on the ‘All Confirmed Orders’ tab on the Order History page.  If you cannot find your order on the ‘All Confirmed Orders’ tab, it likely has not yet been approved by MAC Credit.

Search, Items and Suppliers

I want to shop EZ Garage with my customer next to me, can I hide my pricing?

  • Yes! We’ve created ‘Kiosk Mode’ that hides your distributor cost and only shows List price. 
  • To enable Kiosk Mode:
    • Scroll to the very bottom of any page
    • Look to the right and click ‘Kiosk Mode’
      • While in Kiosk Mode, you will not be able to add any items to your Daily or Direct-Ship Order. You must go back to ‘Regular Mode’ to place orders.
    • To exit Kiosk Mode and get back to Regular Mode:
      • Scroll to the very bottom of any page
      • Look to the right and click ‘Regular Mode’
        • To re-enter Regular Mode, you will be prompted to re-enter your account information for security purposes.

What is Kiosk mode v. Regular mode?

  • ‘Kiosk Mode’ hides your distributor cost and only shows List price.
    • While in Kiosk Mode, you may browse the entire EZ Garage website without any of your costs being displayed however, you will not be able to add any items to your Daily or Direct-Ship Order. You must go back to ‘Regular Mode’ to place orders.
  • ‘Regular Mode’ is the standard operating mode in which all distributor costs are visible and all functionality and features are enabled, ie. Daily Order, Direct-Ship Order, Order History, etc.

What are Favorites?

  • Favorites are tool within EZ Garage that allow you to save items for future ordering and reference.
  • The Favorites page can be accessed by clicking ‘FAVORITES’ in the menu bar.
  • To add an item to your Favorites simply click ‘Add to Favorite ♥’ on any item result or product page.
  • To remove an item from your Favorites, click the ‘trash can symbol’ in the upper right of the item.

Does MAC EZ Garage have the same items or products as MacWD?

  • Yes, and more! On MAC EZ Garage, distributors and franchisees will have access to nearly all of the same products that were on MacWD, PLUS an additional 25,000+ products not previously available through MacWD.

Do I have access to the same suppliers as I did on MacWD?  Are there new suppliers?

  • MAC EZ Garage offers items from 400+ suppliers, including all 200+ core suppliers that were on MacWD, except ATD and Platinum.

I need a Platinum or ATD item, can EZ Garage help?

  • We’ve got you covered! Most Platinum and ATD items have been cross referenced to our equivalents for replacement, primarily to the K-Tool International (KTI) brand. Simply search the PLT or ATD part number in EZ Garage and the closest result should display in search results.

This is great, but where are the promotions?

  • 90%+ of items on MAC EZ Garage have a lower cost than MacWD, so you could say the entire website is on promotion! In addition, we’re planning some great promotions for the Fall, so be on the lookout for updates in your email and texts!

Order History, Status and Tracking

How fast will I receive my items once my order is placed?

  • Once you place a Daily Order or Direct-Ship Order, it passes to MAC Credit for approval. When approved by MAC Credit, orders for in-stock items typically ship same day if received by 3pm local time.
  • Orders to U.S. distributors for in-stock items should be shipped and delivered within 2-3 business days, however may take up to one week (add 7-10 days for AK, HI, PR).
  • Orders to Canada distributors for in-stock items should take 10-21 days, as they must pass through the MAC Tools Columbus, OH cross dock facility.
  • For MAC Tools distributors in Canada, a planned phase two deployment (1H 2022) will enable five to seven day delivery with direct shipments to Canada from ISN’s distribution centers in the United States.

Where is my order status?

  1. Go to your ‘Order History’ page.
  2. Click on the appropriate tab:
    • EZ Garage Order Requests
      • All Order Requests listed on this tab are either Pending Mac Credit Approval or are Confirmed. If Confirmed, updated Order Status is on the ‘All Confirmed Orders’ tab.
    • All Confirmed Orders
      • All Orders listed are Approved by Mac Credit and were submitted via EZ Garage, your MBA or Mac Tools Corporate.
    • Shipments
      • Lists tracking numbers by shipment.

How do I change, modify or cancel an order I already placed?
